About Steve Sirk

Steve Sirk has covered the Columbus Crew since 1998 for a variety of publications, including The Michigan Soccer News, Matchnight.com, Hunt Park Insider, and is now in his second tour of duty with the club's official website, TheCrew.com. His lengthy, informative, and humorous "Sirk's Notebook" column was born on TheCrew.com in March of 2000 and has remained a staple of Crew coverage to this day.

Sirk has previously been spotted bumbling around the locker rooms of the Columbus Blue Jackets and Cleveland Indians for Columbus Wired, and has sporadically written from afar about the Cleveland Browns for the Orange and Brown Report. Born and raised in Cleveland, he is still thoroughly stunned that one of his teams dominated the league and won a championship. It was in that stupefying mental fog that he managed to put together A Massive Season, his first book.
